But I found either the flavors were not great or all tasted the same, bad texture, or were too costly. I have tried in addition to those above Quest, Cliff protein bars, Powerbar protein, kirkland brand, simply protein, vega protein. I also like a few flavors from ONE and Oatmega, but they are more costly, and in the case of Oatmega they are hard to find in stores and in stock online. I have about 4 flavors I go for, but I am always on the lookout for new brands to spice things up. I have been eating Pure Protein for a couple years now as they are cheap, available on Amazon and in Walmart (Canada), and have a pretty good macro breakdown. This has been a massive challenge with lots of fun taste testing. I have gone through MANY protein bars over the years trying to find the one that is low enough in calories to use in my daily caloric intake, low in sugars and have a reasonable amount of protein AND taste good.
